Waiver Policy
At Olites Publishing, we believe that financial barriers should not prevent the dissemination
of quality research. We offer full or partial waivers of article processing charges (APCs) for eligible authors
under specific conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
- Researchers without institutional or grant funding.
- First-time authors or early-career researchers under special consideration.
Types of Waivers
- Full Waiver: 100% of the APC is waived for eligible applicants.
- Partial Waiver: A discount ranging from 25% to 75% based on the author's circumstances
and availability of funds.
Application Process
- Submit your manuscript through our submission portal.
- Indicate in your cover letter that you are requesting a waiver.
- Include a brief justification and, if possible, supporting documents (e.g. funding status, institution
letter).
- Waiver decisions are made prior to peer review and do not affect the editorial outcome.
Important: Waiver availability is limited and considered on a case-by-case basis. Applying
for a waiver does not influence the editorial decision or the peer review process.
