What is Considered Plagiarism?
- Copying text, ideas, images, or data without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing content without crediting the original source.
- Self-plagiarism (reusing significant portions of your own previously published work).
- Submitting someone else’s work as your own.
Plagiarism Detection
- All manuscripts are screened using leading plagiarism detection tools like Turnitin,
iThenticate, or PlagScan.
- The acceptable similarity index is below 15% including references.
- Any manuscript exceeding the limit will be returned for revision or rejected outright.
Important: Authors are strongly encouraged to check their manuscripts using reliable plagiarism
tools before submission to avoid unnecessary delays in review.
Consequences of Plagiarism
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- Blacklisting of authors for future submissions.
- Notification to affiliated institutions and co-authors.
- Retraction of published articles (if detected post-publication).
