Reviewer Guidelines

Olites publishers follow a rapid, double-blind peer review process in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. Once a manuscript is submitted, it is assigned to a member of the journal’s editorial board. The editor first assesses whether the manuscript falls within the scope of the journal. If it does, suitable reviewers are invited based on their expertise and subject knowledge.

After receiving the reviewers’ comments, the authors are notified and requested to revise the manuscript accordingly. The revised version is then re-evaluated to ensure that all required amendments have been addressed. The final decision regarding acceptance is made by the handling editor.

Reviewer selection and peer review process

At Olites, we support our editors in selecting potential reviewers by evaluating the quality and credibility of other scientific authors’ work. This allows us to match manuscripts with reviewers who have the appropriate expertise to conduct an effective and thorough review. Our editorial board members are responsible for assigning reviewers to submitted manuscripts.

Reviewers are expected to provide detailed, constructive feedback that aids editors in making informed publication decisions and guides authors in improving their work. The authenticity and credibility of scientific literature rely heavily on a robust peer review process. Without the informed judgment of knowledgeable peers, it would be impossible to reliably assess the quality and credibility of scientific content.

The peer review process is designed to evaluate the originality, validity, and overall quality of each manuscript before it is accepted for publication. By identifying and rejecting plagiarized, low-quality, or otherwise unsuitable work, reviewer’s help uphold the integrity of the publishing process.

At Olites, our mission to disseminate scientific knowledge depends entirely on the effectiveness of the peer review system. The expertise and dedication of our reviewers are essential to maintaining the high standards of Olites Publishers, as peer review is the foundational step in the publication journey.

Reviewer Guidelines for Article Evaluation

  • Reviewers must approach each manuscript with full attention and maintain an unbiased, objective perspective throughout the review process.
  • Feedback should be relevant, constructive, and aimed at improving the overall quality of the manuscript. Minor issues such as grammatical errors may be corrected directly by the reviewer. Comments should be clear, specific, and detailed.
  • Reviews should be completed within the designated timeline to ensure the review process proceeds efficiently. Reviewers are expected to acknowledge receipt of the manuscript promptly upon assignment.
  • Reviewers are encouraged to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with the editorial staff and editors.
  • If the manuscript does not align with the journal’s scope or lacks scientific rigor, the reviewer should inform the Editorial Office promptly and directly.
