Managing Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: Strategies and Therapies

Abstract

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) poses a significant clinical challenge characterized by elevated pulmonary vascular resistance, leading to right heart failure and diminished exercise capacity. The management of PAH has evolved considerably over the past decades, with a focus on alleviating symptoms, improving quality of life, and slowing disease progression.
